The Kelty Galactic 30 offers a roomy sleeping bag with 550-fill duck down insulation. It is designed for campers who want space to stretch out, with the option to zip two compatible Galactic bags together into a double-width setup.
The bag uses 50D polyester taffeta fabric with a C0, PFC-free water-repellent treatment. A top cord adjustment helps control the opening, while a zipper draft tube and anti-snag design support warmth and ease of use.
The Duck Green/Olive Oil version weighs 1.3kg and contains 652g of down. Its listed length is 193cm, with a 38 x 19cm stuff sack included. The supplier lists a temperature rating of 30°F/-1°C.
